hi. my name is chelsea.
i was born and raised in texas.
yes i have ridden a horse, no i have never ridden a horse to school.
i don't have much of a southern accent and i rarely say "y'all".
but i do speak spanglish.
i don't understand the concept of the "southern drawl" b/c i pretty much speak faster than anyone else i've ever met.
i may be a proud texan, but i'm also a proud city girl.
chances are, the city i grew up in could swallow your city.
my high school graduation class consisted of 742 people. that is not small.
on more than one occasion i have been in the same room, at the same time, as george bush sr, his wife, and their secret service agents.
i do not own cowboy boots, although i have in the past.
i have never owned a cowboy hat.
rarely will i be caught listening to country music.
yes, there are emo kids in texas. (i was asked that once)
everything really is bigger in texas. honestly.
no, we're not arrogant, just proud.
and we don't hate everyone from other states, texas is the friendship state.
